Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Starting and running a business means trusting us with your name, your ID and your business's details. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. About this policy

This policy covers personal information we handle through link868.com, your Link868 account, our forms, WhatsApp, email, phone, events and every other part of our services (the “Services”). “Personal information” means information about an identifiable person, such as a name, ID number, phone number or email address.

It works together with our Terms of Service. We follow the privacy and data protection laws of Trinidad and Tobago, including the Data Protection Act, and the record keeping rules that apply to businesses like ours.

2. Who is responsible

Link868 is owned and operated by YRE Digital (“Link868”, “we”, “us”). We decide how and why your personal information is used, and we are responsible for it.

  • When you pay by card, YRE360 LLC sells and processes that payment and handles the payment details it needs for that, as described in section 8.
  • When a partner delivers a service you chose, such as LinkBusiness services from Unilink Business Services Ltd, that partner also handles the information it needs to deliver it, under its own privacy terms.

3. What we collect

When you create an account

Your name, email address, phone number and password. We store the password only in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the password. If you turn on two-step sign-in, we store what is needed to check your codes.

When you register or look after a business

  • Details of the business: proposed and registered names, what it does, addresses, and its registration and filing history.
  • Details of the people in it: owners, partners, directors, shareholders, secretaries and beneficial owners, including names, dates of birth, nationality, addresses, occupations, contact details and ownership shares.
  • Identity and address documents, such as ID cards, passports, driver's permits and proof of address, and the details on them, such as ID numbers and expiry dates.
  • Tax and registration numbers, such as BIR and NIB numbers, where a service needs them.
  • The documents you upload to myLinkVault, and the documents we prepare for you.

When you pay

A record of what you bought, how much, when, how you paid and the payment reference. Card and wallet details are taken by the payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

When you contact us or fill in a form

Your name, business, contact details and what you tell us: for example when you ask us to call you, register interest in LinkSN or a feature marked coming soon, ask about a partnership, request a LinkBusiness assessment or run the free company risk check. We also note whether you agreed to hear about other offers. If you have a LinkBusiness assessment, we keep your answers before and during it, and our notes and findings.

When you message us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, we keep the conversation so we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed.

When you use LinkSN

Your membership level, the courses and events you sign up for and attend, and, where you agree, a short profile so we can make introductions. Events may be photographed or recorded; we tell you beforehand.

When you use online services

For domains, business email, websites and online profiles we set up or check for you: the account names, domain details and settings needed to provide them. We do not read the emails in a mailbox we provide, except to fix a problem you ask us to fix or where the law requires it.

When you visit the site

Technical information needed to run and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and when, and error records. See section 13 for cookies and analytics.

4. Where it comes from

  • Mostly from you, through the site, forms, WhatsApp, email, phone and at events.
  • From other people in your business, for example when a director or partner gives us your details for a filing.
  • From public registers, such as the Companies Registry, when we check a business or a name.
  • From payment providers, which confirm whether and how a payment was made.
  • From partners who introduce you to us, where you asked them to.

5. How we use it, and why

We use personal information only for clear reasons:

  • To provide what you asked for: preparing and filing registrations and filings, running your account and myLinkVault, delivering online services, LinkSN and assessments, and answering you.
  • To meet the law: checking identity, understanding who owns and controls a business, keeping records, reporting where the law requires, and meeting tax and accounting rules.
  • To keep you on track: reminders about filings, renewals and deadlines, and messages about your orders and account.
  • To keep the Services safe: preventing fraud, misuse and security problems.
  • To improve: understanding, in total and not person by person, which pages and services help people, so we can make them better.
  • To tell you about other offers, only where you agreed to it (see section 7).

We do this because it is needed for our agreement with you, because the law requires it, because it is in our legitimate interest to run a safe and useful service in a way that respects your privacy, or because you agreed. Where we rely on your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time.

6. Automated tools and checks

To work quickly and accurately, we use automated tools from our technology suppliers, which may include machine-learning services. They help us read the details on documents you upload (for example the name and number on an ID), check proposed business names, check that forms are complete, and sort incoming messages.

A person on our team checks every application before it is filed, and no decision that matters to you, such as refusing a service, is made by a tool alone. Our suppliers may use the information only to provide these tools to us, not for their own purposes.

7. Marketing and messages

  • We send you news and offers by email, WhatsApp or text only if you agreed to it. Each message tells you how to stop, and you can also tell us at privacy@link868.com at any time.
  • Messages about your orders, filings, deadlines, account and security are part of the service, so they continue while you have an active service.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their advertising.

8. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where we need to, and only what is needed:

  • Government and registries: the Registrar General's Department, the Board of Inland Revenue, the National Insurance Board and similar bodies, to make the registrations and filings you ask for.
  • Regulators and law enforcement: where the law requires it, including anti-money laundering and beneficial ownership rules, a court order or a lawful request.
  • YRE360 LLC: when you pay by card, your name, email, order and payment details, so it can sell and process the payment.
  • Payment providers: Stripe, WAM and PayWise, to take your payment.
  • Our service providers, who handle information for us under contract and only on our instructions:
    • hosting and cloud servers that run the site and store data;
    • email delivery (Resend), for account and order emails;
    • our customer relationship system (Zoho Bigin), which holds enquiries and assessment requests so we can follow them up;
    • network services (Cloudflare), which run our domain and route incoming email to us;
    • privacy-friendly website analytics (see section 13);
    • file scanning, which checks uploads for harmful content;
    • the technology suppliers whose automated tools are described in section 6; and
    • technology partners who provide services you choose, such as domains, business email, websites and LinkCloud (powered by Genikai Ltd).
  • Partners delivering a service you chose: for example Unilink Business Services Ltd for LinkBusiness services, or a bank, accountant or other business you asked us to introduce you to. We share only what they need, and only after you ask.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): when you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles those messages under its own privacy terms.
  • Professional advisers: our attorneys, accountants, auditors and insurers, under confidentiality.
  • A new owner: if Link868 or its business is sold or reorganised, your information may pass to the new owner, who must protect it as this policy says. We will tell you if this happens.

9. Information sent outside Trinidad and Tobago

Some of our providers store or handle information outside Trinidad and Tobago, including in the United States. For example, our servers, email delivery, customer relationship system, payment providers and some automated tools are run abroad. When this happens, we choose providers with strong security, limit what they receive, and require them by contract to protect it and use it only for us.

10. How we protect it

  • Information travels to and from the site encrypted.
  • Documents in myLinkVault are stored encrypted and scanned for harmful content when they arrive.
  • Only staff who need it for your order can see your documents, and every time someone opens or decides on an identity document, it is recorded.
  • Staff accounts use two-step sign-in, and our admin areas are not open to the public internet.
  • We keep backups so your records survive a failure.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information. You can help by using a strong password, turning on two-step sign-in, and never sharing your login.

11. How long we keep it

  • Identity checks, ownership details and records of registrations and filings: for as long as the law requires. Under the anti-money laundering rules this is at least six years after our relationship with you ends, and sometimes longer if an authority asks us to.
  • Payment and accounting records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually at least six years.
  • Your account and myLinkVault: while your account is open. When you close it, we delete your documents, except those we must keep under the first two points.
  • Enquiries and assessment requests that do not lead to a service: for as long as we need to follow up, and then we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Marketing preferences: if you ask us to stop, we keep a short note of that, so we do not contact you again by mistake.
  • Technical logs: for a short time, unless they are needed to look into a security problem.

12. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer need or have no right to keep;
  • stop or limit some uses, such as marketing;
  • give you your documents in a form you can take elsewhere; and
  • withdraw an agreement you gave us, such as to marketing.

Email privacy@link868.com to make a request. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not give your information to someone else. We aim to reply within 30 days. There is no charge, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive. Some information must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete it (see section 11); if so, we tell you what and why.

13. Cookies, local storage and analytics

  • Necessary cookies keep you signed in, keep your account secure and remember choices like a form in progress. The site cannot work without them.
  • Campaign note. If you arrive from one of our campaigns, your browser keeps a short note of which one, for up to 90 days, in its own storage on your device. It contains no name or identifier, and lets us count which campaigns help people, not who they are.
  • Analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics that counts visits and pages in total. It does not use advertising cookies or follow you around the web.
  • We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell information about your visits.

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings; you will then need to sign in again.

14. Information about other people

When you give us details about other people, such as your partners, directors, shareholders or beneficial owners, you confirm that you are allowed to share them for this purpose and that you have told those people we will use their information as this policy describes. Please point them to this page.

15. Children

The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, except where a minor's details are required by law for a filing and are given to us by their parent or guardian.

16. If something goes wrong

If a security problem puts your personal information at risk, we act quickly to contain it, tell you without undue delay if it is likely to affect you, explain what happened and what you can do, and tell the authorities where the law requires.

17. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes, for example when we add a service or change a provider. The “last updated” date at the top shows when. If a change matters to you, we tell you by email or in your account before it takes effect.

18. Contact us and complaints

For anything about your personal information, email privacy@link868.com. For anything else, support@link868.com or WhatsApp through the contact page.

If you are not happy with how we handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You may also complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago once it is receiving complaints.
